The Balvenie Stories Collection
The Stories range allow The Balvenie to tell stories of the people and places behind the whisky, celebrating the creativity, passion and curiosity of its Makers.
Storytelling is carried through every aspect of The Balvenie Stories - with each tale a bespoke artwork by British print artist Andy Lovell. Each artwork represents the real-life stories of the people behind the whiskies, bringing meaning and emotion to the day-to-day passion and dedication to each whisky making craft at the distillery.
In celebration of their esteemed Stories collection, The Balvenie presents "The Story of the Coopers," shining a light on their on-site cooperage. This edition showcases the artistry and skill of their experienced coopers as they strive to unlock the full potential of each cask.
Aged exclusively in European oak Oloroso sherry casks, this expression reflects Head Cooper Ian McDonald's journey to Spain, where he exchanged expertise with bodega workers. After maturing for 19 years, the liquid was bottled in 2023 at 47.5% abv.
