Hibiki 12 Year Old Japanese Whisky 5cl Miniature

Taking its name from the Japanese for 'resonance', this blend from the House of Suntory is crafted with malt whiskies from Hakushu and Yamazaki, and grain whisky from The Chita distillery. Aged at least 12 years in a variety of cask types, inlcuding Japanese Mizunara oak, this expression was discontinued in 2015 due to the surge in popularity of Japanese whisky which in turn led to a lack of aged stocks.

Nose: Juicy marmalade with real chunks of orange, cooked apples dusted with cinnamon, thick honey and plum wine.
Palate: Crushed almonds, stewed fruits, clove-studded oranges. Sherried malt and a subtle core of oak.
Finish: Bright and flavoursome with crisp apple and citrus.
