Scallywag is a new addition to the Douglas Laing range. A blend of Speyside malts, including Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes aged in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, this is a rich and complex vatting. 

 

Inspired by a long line of Douglas Laing family Fox Terriers, this Award-winning Malt is bottled and released in genuinely small, precious batches.

Nose: A richly spiced character woven into delicious vanilla.
Palate: Vanilla and cinnamon dominate the palate. Just like Big Peat, this dram has a Christmas feel, suitable for Christmas table for sure. Smooth but powerful whisky.
Finish: Displays a burst of orange with fresh ginger, cocoa and rich fruitcake.
