Created specially for the 2025 Campbeltown Malts Festival, this limited edition Glen Scotia is a bold, heavily peated single malt, finished for five months in vibrant Ribera del Duero red wine casks. With only six weeks of the year devoted to peated whisky production at Glen Scotia, this release is a true rarity.
Initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, it opens with Glen Scotia’s signature coastal character and smooth vanilla sweetness. The red wine cask finish then adds layers of rich blackberry, luscious red fruits, and subtle liquorice.
