The whiskey is named after the Sazerac Coffee House in New Orleans, where the renowned Sazerac cocktail was born. Thomas H Handy, the owner of Peychaud's Bitters, acquired the Coffee House. Initially, he sold bottles of the Sazerac cocktail, originally made with Cognac.

 

Nowadays, this exceptional whiskey is crafted at the Buffalo Trace distillery. It's a must-try for enthusiasts of spicy whiskey, offering delightful notes of sweet baking spice and Seville orange.
