Nc'Nean Quiet Rebels Annabel
This is the first seasonal release from Nc’nean’s new series of whiskies, Quiet Rebels. These experimental limited editions are a celebration of the small, eco-conscious team that is making the rebellious little distillery of Nc’nean one of the most exciting on the planet.
Only 4,505 bottles were made of the whisky dedicated to Annabel, and it was matured in a mixture of ex-Bourbon and ex-Tokaji barrels.
She favours the Hungarian sweet wine casks for the velvety texture they bring out in the final whisky.
The combination produces a wonderfully aromatic spirit, with notes of wildflowers, almond biscotti, desiccated coconut macaroons and vibrant tropical fruits.
Certified organic, non-chill filtered and natural colour, the whisky was filled at 48.5% ABV into a bottle that’s every bit as beautiful as it is.
