Distilled at the Dailuaine distillery in 2012, this exceptional release aged for a total of 11 years, including a finishing period in a cask previously home to the finest Oloroso sherry. Presented by Wine & Spirits Merchant, Berry Bros & Rudd, this special edition commemorates the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon. Bottled in celebration, only 493 of these unique bottles were filled from cask 5052 at cask strength, 55.3% vol.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of grassy, light green fruits fly out of the glass followed closely by tell-tale signs of thick, Sherry wood. Prunes, dates and spiced oak scale the olfactory senses.
Palate: The palate is rich and full, holding one’s attention but balancing between distillate-driven orchard fruits and heavier Sherry notes.
Finish: Spice roars across the finish building in intensity with a puff of wood smoke at the tip.
