Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose

Noticeable vanilla, cut flowers (daffodil, blossom and hints of lily) and beneath these, a clean, toasty note. Becomes increasingly sweet and creamy, with a lightly aromatic edge and fresh citrus.
Palate

Very fruity with notes of Madeira and sweet stewed fruits. Becomes quite oaky late palate.
Finish

Herbal and drying, a little like potpourri.

One of the few remaining Lowland distilleries, Glenkinchie's rural location amid fields of barley, just twenty miles from the hustle and bustle of the capital, makes this 'The Edinburgh Malt'.

Distilled using some of Scotland's largest stills; matured for 12 years, the result is a light, fresh and floral whisky.
