Initially detect salted caramel and sea-spray giving way to charred pineapple, vanilla fudge and stone fruits.
Palate

Thick and mouth-coating with caramel and BBQ’d banana balanced by toasted oak and peated Malt.

Lingers long with candied ginger, brown sugar and just a touch of smoke.

Product Description

The wild, sea-salted shores of Scotland’s whisky islands are met by the warm and sun-soaked shores of the Caribbean in this new limited-edition bottling. A new depth of character has been achieved by finishing this maritime spirit in Plantation Rum Casks predominantly from the Caribbean, including from the island countries of Jamaica, Trinidad, and Barbados.

In true Douglas Laing style, this bottling is offered proudly without colouring or chill-filtration and at a high alcohol strength of 46.8%, allowing the natural spirit to shine in all its natural glory!
