A Favourite

I had to get another bottle whilst still available as this has been a favourite of the last year or so. Lovely nose of dried fruit and red berries with some Oloroso spice. These notes follow through into the palate together with some apple and pear. The finish is long and sweet with cocoa and cherry.
Not a summer whisky perhaps, but we have the winter approaching. This is a cracking cask strength whisky and if you can find it anywhere I would thoroughly recommend purchasing. I have also have the 2023 but given a choice, would pick the 2022 every time.

The perfect PX whisky

I bought two bottles of the Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2022, having had one at Christmas and realising just how good it is. Does not taste cask strength, and the PX barrel adds a sweetness without drowning out an underlying, complex whisky. I'll save these bottles for the next couple of years...and may be back for more before they sell out. Incredible value to quality ratio...

Bunnahabhain 12 is a favourite of mine but the cask strength 2022 is a concentrated version. Absolutely delicious and all too easy to drink. Don't be afraid to add a teaspoon of water. Haven't tried the 2021or 2023.
