Kilkerran 5 Year Old Heavily Peated - Virtual Tasting 2021
Kilkerran single malt is distilled at the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsula. The annual Campbeltown Whisky Festival couldn't take place like normal due to Covid19, so, they did a Virtual Tasting Week in May 2021 and this was one of the tasting releases.
This heavily peated expression was laid down to mature for just five years in fresh Oloroso sherry casks before then being bottled at a strength of 58.2% abv.
