The tale of Kyrö Distillery Company began as a vision originating from a Finnish sauna. With Kyrö Wood Smoke, we pay homage to the earliest manifestation of the Finnish sauna - the smoke sauna.

Employing an age-old custom from the north, the rye utilized in Kyrö Wood Smoke has undergone exposure to alder smoke within a century-old "riihi" barn.

After being double pot distilled, Kyrö Wood Smoke is matured through a blend of new American oak, French oak, and ex-bourbon casks, culminating in an intense peppery taste and sweet hints of vanilla and caramel, augmented by the crisp alder smoke.

It is ideal to enjoy as is, with ice, or if you desire a fresh twist, as an ingredient in your preferred whisky cocktail.
