A welcomed smokiness on first nosing, mixed with red berries, lemon and grassy notes. With more time; pear, tangerine and melon.
Palate

Dry peatiness on the palate, mixed in with red wine notes. A good dash of orange zest from the nose.

Oaky and buttery finish.

This single malt whisky, distilled in the Highlands at an undisclosed location, was created by the team behind the Isle of Raasay distillery while it was still under construction. A lightly peated expression, the whisky was aged in oak for an undisclosed period before being transferred to ex-Tuscan red wine casks for finishing.

This limited edition release features individual bottle numbers and has been bottled at a strength of 46% ABV, without chill filtration or artificial colouring.
