Method and Madness

From Midleton's experimental Method and Madness range. This is the first official release of a single grain whiskey from Irish Distillers.  Using Single Grain whiskey aged in Virgin Spanish Oak casks resulted in a delightful taste of gentle wood spice playing off the natural sweetness of the grain.

An Irish Single Malt from Midleton for the Method and Madness range, launched back in 2017. Left to mature in bourbon barrels and part finished in a French Limousin Oak.

Straying from traditional oak, this Single Pot Still whiskey is aged in French chestnut casks. This is the first time the distillery has used anything other than oak to mature whiskey.
