Description

This 2012 vintage GlenAllachie single malt is a distinguished addition to the brand's Wood Collection. Initially matured, it was then finished in Sauternes wine casks, renowned for their role in producing French dessert wine from the rare white grapes of Bordeaux. These grapes gain their sweetness through a process known as 'noble rot,' which dehydrates the fruit and concentrates its sugars.

The Sauternes casks impart rich flavours of ripe peach and caramel.

Bottled at 48% ABV, this single malt Scotch whisky is naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.
