In the pursuit of excellence, each release surpassing the last, GlenAllachie Cask Strength Batch 10 epitomises the artistry and mastery behind their liquid gold.

 

Crafted to achieve their signature Sherried profile, Billy meticulously chose Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks, marrying them with spirit aged in red wine barriques and medium toast/medium char American virgin oak barrels. Presented in its unadulterated state, with a natural cask strength of 58.6%, and free from added color or chill-filtration.

Tasty but too high alcohol volume

Very tasty. Could benefit by a reduction of alcohol volume. However easily remedied by adding a small drop of water releasing more flavours. Complex and fruity. Raisins. Cherries. Biscuit.
