The Lakes Distillery Whiskymakers Project Elements Set 7x20cl

This collection of whisky from The Lakes Distillery is highly exclusive and individually numbered. It has been meticulously crafted using a select collection of sherry casks.

The limited-edition collection is number 1 to 1,368, and it showcases the distinct flavours and aromas derived from different types of sherry wine, including Fino, Manzanillia, Amontadillo, Palo Cortado, Cream, PX, and Oloroso.

After analysing dozens of casks and specifications in the original project, the whiskymaker identified seven key components for the collection known as "Elements." These core elements include American Oak as the oak type, 500-litre butts as the cask size, maturing spirit, warehousing conditions, and an ABV of 54%.

Each Element in this collection represents an essential building block in the Lakes' maturation philosophy. By providing access to a reference library, whisky enthusiasts can explore the unique features, aroma, texture, and flavour of each Element and how it contributes to the creation of a sherry-led single malt whisky.
