Matured entirely on Islay, this exceptional single malt captures Port Charlotte's trademark 40PPM dry peat smoke with a graceful balance and depth. Rich notes of honey, hazelnut, and salted caramel blend beautifully with gentle waves of peat smoke, finishing with a delicate touch of coastal minerality.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruits are immediate on the nose, with the aroma of figs, sultanas and raisins mingling with sweet smoke and mellow oak. As the whisky breathes, charred oak, tobacco and earthy heather come to the fore, complimenting the delicate sweetness of caramel, toffee and date syrup
Palate: Islay peat smoke at the front, with the subtle influence of toasted oak adding depth and complexity. The earthy, barbeque smoke adds a savoury element, beautifully balanced with rich crème brûlée, hazelnut and toasted coconut
Finish: Lengthy finish with prominent notes of peat and citrus.
