Doorly's XO is a rum from Barbados that is initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels for 5 to 6 years, followed by a secondary maturation in ex-sherry casks. It boasts an exquisite aroma of toffee, abundant with notes of vanilla, mocha, and a hint of honey. The rum is rich, spicy, and nuanced, deriving from its aging in old oloroso sherry casks. A subtle vinous flavour, coupled with sweet banana and raisins, lingers with perfect balance. This rum is extremely approachable and versatile, making it perfect for sipping like a malt whisky or brandy, as well as an excellent base for cocktails. As with all Doorly's rums, no sweeteners or flavourings are added before bottling.
