Description

Single malt Scotch whisky from the Knockando distillery, an especially delicate, fruity and subtle Speyside 12 Year Old. Smooth but complex layers of flowery, nutty and slightly smoky notes.

The pale, golden colour of Knockando single malt whisky is entirely natural. It is derived solely from the casks in which it has matured – casks held together without nails or glue.

Only natural ingredients are used: malted barley, yeast and spring water from the nearby Cardnach spring.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose: Fruity-floral at first - flowering currant, a hint of blackcurrant - with some ash or char in the background and after a while a trace of damp linen.
Palate: Light mouthfeel, pleasantly sweet, central palate, drying lightly, with a trace of acidity.
Finish: Relatively short. Clean and easy to drink.
