Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose: Oily, briny, candied and creamy. Very “Campbeltown” nose with sherried lashings of prune and figs.
Palate: Dried mango, leather, candied but bruised apple. Cashews, maple syrup, custard cream and hazelnut spread. Not smoky but something industrial lurking.
Finish: Blueberry and roasted coffee beans, pepper and ginger root, becoming herby with tea and ending with Malteasers.
