Arran Founder's Reserve was one of the very first bottlings from Arran distillery, widely assumed to have been assembled from casks of the 1995 vintage, and delivered to members of the Founder's Club in 2001.

 

Although youthful and lacks complexity it has an impressively distinct distillery character that would develop consistently through the years.

Nose: Light and delicate with custard cream biscuits, vanilla ice cream and tropical fruit freshness, lemon icing and cereal notes.
Palate: White chocolate panna cotta with notes of spiced tropical fruit (especially pineapple) custard danish pastries, vanillin oak.
Finish: Buttery shortbread, pineapple chunks, vanilla custard, white chocolate, aromatic spices.
