A glorious limited release Glenrothes, matured for a quarter of a century. It was distilled in November 1997, and has been fully matured in a refill hogshead. 

Bottled at a natural cask strength of 50% ABV. 

Batch 12 is a release of 407 bottles.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich, and sweet; honey, vanilla, and toffee, followed by notes of candied oranges, and turning more floral. Milk chocolate and just a hint of milky coffee too.
Palate: Again sweet and creamy. Beautifully balance by honey and caramel with some peppery spices.
Finish: Hints of white chocolate in the long finish. Glorious!
