Distilled at Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, this release of Kilkerran cask strength was released in early 2023. This expression has been matured in ex-sherry casks for at least eight years before being bottled at a cask strength free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet and smoky on the nose, the peat smoke influence comes though in notes of toasted marshmallows and smoked ham. Notes of dark chocolate and clove develop over time.
Palate: The coastal influence comes to the forefront on the palate in notes of sea salt and fishing nets, along with the sweetness reminiscent of candied apples and toffee.
Finish: The sweet peat influence remains in the finish in a burnt candy note.
