This is the first single cask bottled by Lochlea. Matured in a single ex-Islay whisky barrel. Filled in April 2019 and bottled in October 2023 at a robust 61.5% abv, this Lowland expression is crafted without chill filtration and maintains its natural colour. Limited to just 248 individually numbered bottles.
Expect an allure of sweet toffee, complemented by orchard fruits and toasted cereal notes and subtle hints of cinnamon spice and dry campfire smoke. The journey concludes with the bold accents of cracked black pepper and refreshing coastal notes on the finish.
