Ooft! Complex, with hard rubber, phenolics, tar, fir resin, tobacco, leaf mulch, truffle oil. Hints of tea tree oil and bung cloth hessian
Palate

Lovely dark fruits, big chocolate notes, rancio, and a touch of camphor, menthol, and seasalt. Bitter chocolate, and a cellar/dunnage earthiness comes through in the long finish.

This Springbank whisky was crafted by combining Sherry and Madeira casks. Distilled in November 1996, it was then carefully aged in an American bourbon barrel.

This batch is a release of 411 bottles.
