The fourth release in The Whiskymaker’s Editions series, Bal Masque is a showcase of The Lakes Distillery’s sense of adventure.
The Lakes whiskymaker has created this release using a selection of French oak casks. French oak is known to be the most porous of all the wood-grains and is notoriously difficult to control but, with so many flavour compounds and tannins, it can create a beautiful character with the right care and environment. Bal Masque is non-chill filtered and bottled with natural colour at 54% ABV.
